  • How does your online shop work?
    We've prepared a summary of how online shopping works at Noel's Farm Shop. You can find it HERE.
  • Can I provide some feedback on the website?
    Yes please. We won't be sending you one of those horrible questionnaires, but if you do have a comment - good or bad - then please call Noel or use the Contact Us section of the website, which is a short scroll down the homepage. Likewise, if you think there is a common question and answer that should be in the FAQs, or you spot a mistake please let us know using Contact Us on the homepage.
  • What happens if you don't have an item I've ordered?
    If we think there is a close alternative then we'll offer that instead, but if you've ordered something that we don't have in stock and there is no obvious alternative we will call you to let you know before we deliver or you collect.
  • What if I don't like an alternate choice?
    Please call Noel on 07908 124603 and he'll put it right.
  • How do I know when my order is ready for collection or delivery?
    We'll send you an email saying that your order is ready for you to collect, or that it will be delivered soon. If you don't like email (and let's face it who does?) then add a note on your order in the box provided asking for a call. We may call you anyway, just to see how you are.
  • Some prices or weights are listed as 'approx'. What does that mean in terms of what I pay?
    Our packed meats, for example, come in slightly different pack weights, so we can say that each pack is approx. 150g and that you'll pay a certain price for each 150g. But we might deliver a pack weight of 160g, in which case you'll pay slightly more. That may mean the total price for your shopping is a little different from the price you received at checkout, and we'll let you know what that is when you collect or we deliver. If you're not happy with what we've delivered to you, please call.
  • Can I leave a note on the order with delivery instructions?
    Yes, there is a place on the checkout page where you can leave a comment - a shed to place your delivery in, beware of the mongoose, ring the bell, out surfing - or just a nice quotation, poem or thought for the day.
  • Do I need to register to purchase online?
    No, there is no registration needed when you're shopping online with us. Simply select the products you want to purchase and then go to the checkout. You can place your order by providing a few contact details. We don't ask for payment card information either - you can pay in the shop if you're collecting your order, or pay by card if we are delivering to you.
  • Can I place an order to be delivered when I return from holiday?
    Yes, that's no problem. We can only deliver once you've arrived home, because leaving food on the doorstep isn't a good idea. But after a gorgeous holiday, you'll have a gorgeous delivery to look forward to.
  • Where do you deliver to?
    We deliver to the following postcodes: Guildford (GU1, 2, 3 & 4) and Woking (GU21, 22 & 23). There is a £6 delivery charge for orders under £40 and free delivery for orders £40 and higher. If you live in another postcode, please call Noel and I'll see if we can deliver to you. There may be a reasonable delivery charge.
  • Can I continue to place orders with you by text or phone?
    For the time-being yes, of course. But please give the new online shop a try - we recommend you use either a laptop computer or tablet when you're choosing what to buy because it's easier to navigate around the shop.
  • Do you charge for delivery?
    If your order is under £40, we ask for a delivery charge of £6. The charge is added automatically to your order. Delivery is free for orders of £40 and above. If you're placing an order for delivery to another postcode, please call Noel and he'll give you a reasonable quote for delivery and we'll agree a time.
  • What if I've seen an item in the shop but it's not on the website?
    We're adding new items to the online shop every day, but please call Noel if you've seen something in the shop that's not available online. We can add it to your shopping basket.
  • When do I pay?
    We prefer not to take payment card details online. Instead we've found it easier and more convenient to either take payment from you when you collect your purchases (if you've chosen that option) or for you to pay by card when we deliver.
  • Can I place an order for a relative or friend?
    Yes, you can. We'll need contact information for your relative/friend if we are delivering to them and information from you on who will be paying for the shopping.
  • How do I find a particular product I'm looking for?
    The best way is to go to the online shop and write the product details into the search facility, which is also at the top of every webpage. For example, type in 'extra virgin olive oil' and you'll see what we have. Our products are listed in Collections, so, for example, if you click on the 'Prepared meals' collection you'll see all those products. A lot of our products are listed in multiple Collections, so you may see them in Vegan, Dairy free, Sauces and so on. That's just for convenience.
  • Do you have any Covid-19 restrictions in the Farm Shop?
    Not any more. You don't have to wear a mask when you shop with us, but you are welcome to do so if you feel more comfortable.
  • Can I add an item later, after I've placed the order?
    Yes you can make any changes to your order, but you'll need to phone or text Noel on 07908 124603. We don't offer the facility to amend an order online because we couldn't find a way of doing it. We'll change your order manually and let you know the new total price.
  • What are your bank details?
    We prefer that you pay for your shopping by card when we deliver to you, but if this doesn't work then you can pay directly into our bank account, which is: Sort Code: 30-98-97 Account Number: 39106162 We would really appreciate it if you would put the order number on your payment advice, so we can allocate the payment to the correct order. You'll find the order number at the top of your email confirmation. If you can't find it, don't worry we'll figure it out.
  • How do you deliver frozen food?
    We don't have special frozen food containers, but we pack them last in your delivery, or wait until you come into the shop to select them. Frozen foods are generally packed in paper bags, so you will need to transfer them to the fridge or freezer immediately they're delivered.
  • What's the weather like today?
    At Noel's Farm Shop it's always sunny and warm, with lots of smiles and a warm welcome.
  • Can I save my shopping choices for use again next week?
    At the moment you can't do that, I'm afraid. We are looking at adding that facility soon, meaning you can register your name, address and purchase choices. Please let Noel know if you're interested in that option.
  • How do I find out more about who supplies your produce?
    In many cases if you click on the picture of the product you'll go to another page that gives more details about the producer. Please remember that we use the information provided by the supplier on their website and so cannot guarantee its accuracy.
